Long tapered hub for stress distribution, welded to pipe. Ideal for high pressure and temperature applications.
Slips over pipe and welded both inside and outside. Economical and easy to install.
Used to blank off pipeline ends or vessel openings. No bore, solid disk.
Socket for pipe insertion, single fillet weld. Ideal for small diameter high pressure piping.
Used with stub ends, allows easy alignment and rotation. Ideal for systems requiring frequent disassembly.
Threaded bore for screwing onto pipe without welding. Used for low pressure non-critical applications.
Various face types for different sealing requirements
The most common type, with a raised sealing surface. Gasket seating surface is raised above the bolting circle face.
Gasket seating surface is in the same plane as the bolting circle face. Used with flat face mating flanges.
Groove machined into flange face for metal ring gasket. Used for high pressure and temperature applications.
One flange has a raised face (male) and the other has a matching depression (female). Provides better gasket alignment.
One flange has a raised ring (tongue) and the other has a matching groove. Provides excellent sealing.
